The goal of TQQQ is to achieve 3x for one day. During a bull run, that has a compounding effect over the long term. IIRC, in 2021, the 10-year chart had TQQQ at 10x the gain of QQQ. The current 3-month chart is 92% to 26%, respectively. Decay is a result of volatility, which has been low recently.
