You need to look at one of the train ticket threads for how to get the free travel on the trains. The local buses are cheap and efficient, get a green bus card (you only need one between you) from any Tabac and top it up with €10.

Hi,sincere thanks for your replies, after getting the firestick working, when I returned to hotel it was stopping and I had to go out and back in to get it going again and again, so it's hotspot from now on, hotspot reception is brilliant.We bought the travel card for the green area ( Malaga to Fuengirola) for EUR 1.50 and loaded it with Eur 5. Very convenient to use on the buses as they don't accept bank card. Each journey was 40/45 cts instead of Eur 1.70 for cash payments. Difficult to locate where the travel card can be purchased.Just to add the local bus L1 is free. It goes from Corvajal to Miramar return via Fuengirola center.....you tell bus driver where you are going and take ticket when it pops up outa ticket machine. 7.
