Mahindra tractor pto problems.
I have a 2013 Mahindra Max 28XL (Shuttle) with 415 hours. As far as I know I am the 2nd owner and have had it since hour 300. While driving it through the field a few weeks ago, it just lost power. The RPM's would go all the way down until it almost would die. Even at full throttle it would not go above 1k.

The electric solinoid works, I checked that. The filters are all clean, new oil,If the loader is raised high then suddlenly lowered then stopped suddely the PTO will kick in. soon as the loader is raised it will stop. Nov 25, 2011 / …1,119. Your right foot should be above it, look in that area underneath the tractor. Under your right foot underneath the deck , locate the solenoid. On the back end of the solenoid, in the center, push in on it, kind of like a button. If grit are something gets in this, the pto won't work.Put a new battery in it, and away we went. (if you checked the amps as well as the voltage, then there is something else wrong). Check your grounding wire from the battery to the frame. It might be loose, or have bad contact.
