Lillith. Lilith was the Siren class character from the original Borderlands. Her active ability was Phasewalk. It allowed her to move in and out of combat with varied damage and healing techniques ... I recommend either Silent Resolve or Hit and Run. It's basically a hit-and-run build, and I use shotguns a lot. Usually have a Shock artifact equipped and am using the tempest mod-- just charge in phase strike in the middle of a crowd, your phase burst will get rid of any shields, unload on survivors with your shotgun, cause mayhem until phasewalk cools off and get out of dodge.

A shock artifact turret is also very effective if you spec into its DPS improving skills. Mordecai: Gunslinger - This and a masher unforgiven is just silly. Lilith: Plaguebearer - Maliwan Crux + Defiler = Infinite win. Brick: Blastmaster - Massive DPS, massive DPS everywhere. Phasewalk is just so, so useful - spend points in reducing cooldown, and restoring health when you are in phasewalk. Spend points in increasing your shield capacity, damage caused by weapons, accuracy etc. You can experiment. Once you have spent skill points, tried it out and not liked the result - just respec.

The higher the Awesome Level the higher is the weighting of Rare, Epic, and Legendary loot.
