Fast forward to this past August 22nd and it threw another P0300. In this case I had driven about 50 miles to see family. The Jeep sat in the driveway for about 4 hours. It was hot. Then after departing, and getting to the stop sign down the street, about 1 minute since engine start, the CEL came on. I always carry a scanner and it said P0300.

Basically the O2 sensor is seeing too much oxygen in the exhaust right out of the engine before the catalytic converter. I would check for a crack in the exhaust manifold or a bad exhaust gasket. On the way home my cel kept flashing and jeep was running rough. Now I'm getting p2305 and p0300.Threw a code for a drivers side upstream o2 a few months back, bought new sensor but CEL turned off so never installed new sensor. A couple of weeks ago, new CEL, codes were P0430, P2308 and P0300 and the jeep started running rough, did not want to go much over 40 mph, would shudder around 40 mph and CEL started flashing.It is a 2005 rubicon unlimited 4.0L. 165,000 miles. I can feel a slight studded when it is in idle. (Sometimes it's more than slight but that is rare.) It throws the 0300, 0304, 0306 pcodes. 0306 was the original cod thrown.
