I had BG3 installed on a SSD but I had major problems with textures not loading and stuff popping in during cutscenes and exploration. It is probably a stupid oversight on my part, but I assumed my SSD was good and it wouldn't be causing an issue like this.

My biggest BG3 save is 3.5GB. It would take literally 0.5 seconds for the PS5 load process that amount of data. Edit: so I'll reiterate, if the game loads slowly on PS5 it has nothing to do with the PS5 and would load just as slow on a PS5 Pro unless Larian properly optimized the game to take advantage of such fast SSDs.
