Jun 29, 2018 · Transmission will not pull uphill. I have a 2016 Sears Model 247.204430 50"deck 26hp Kohler Tight Turn. Today I started experiencing an issue with the transmission. It will pull on flat ground ( fwd and reverse) but will not go up even a fairly slight grade. IT seems like it is slipping or shuddering if that makes sense. Go to the rear side of the lawn tractor. I only use this on my residence. It has close to 500 hours on it. I bought it last year.
