I haven't heard of anyone yet...that I know who has taken the NCLEX-PN reached 85 questions and failed..I know that you can pass at 85 or fail at 85 just as you can pass at 275 or fail at 275 or in between too. Most people on this site who's tests stopped at 85 passsed the nclex. Every lvn I know in person, which is a lot, has passed at 85, none have failed at 85. Statistically, the amount of question you get does indicate how well the person did on the exam .
