Imo light weapon is far better than cursed, you can get more damage in the end without the HP drain and only 2 slots! My witch has a +10 weapon with 178 damage, when i do light weapon with my insane catalyst i get 451 damage, my magic is at 50 though, but thats more than 100% increase.

Cursed weapon will likely do more damage with that low of a magic stat, but requires 3 slots and will drain 8hp/sec. I've found the hp drain to be pretty negligible (I tend to wear a regen ring), but if you don't want to get your int to 18, or wear that ring that gives you an extra slot, light weapon would be "better."
