Step 1: google your tvs model regarding RGB range. If it isn't a top name brand and a decent model from say 2015 on, it likely doesn't support full RGB. Why? Because this was traditionally not a tv setting, but a monitor one. Simply due to televisions not supporting the full 256 color range of RGB.
LG C1 HDMI-CEC issue with Nintendo Switch. My LG C1 turns off seemingly at random while playing Nintendo Switch. On the Switch, I have turned off the Match Power State option, and I still have the issue. If I turn off HDMI-CEC on the TV, that seems to resolve it, but I like using the LG remote to control my Apple TV, receiver volume etc.

I wish I knew a solution for you. I've had issues getting surround sound from Nintendo Switch with my C2 connected to a Yamaha receiver. I always had sound though. I was able to get 5.1 sound by plugging the switch dock directly to the receiver rather than the TV. Dunno if that will be helpful in your case when you aren't getting sound at all.
