It is the optimal temperature for the car. I recently got to 240 (with a couple seconds at 244) while towing a heavy trailer uphill on the interstate in 89F weather - 4000 rpm in 3rd at 55 mph. So yeah, 250 isn’t normal.

A couple of weeks ago the electric radiator fan came on during a 2 hour drive and was very loud. After that day, that fan now comes on at full speed whenever driving more than about 10 miles on the highway. At full speed, its loud! I took it into the dealer and they replaced the TIPM computer and said it was fixed.

I had the rad flushed/serviced about a month ago....then BAM, out of no where...my temps climb past 235 and the dial starts to move off of center. I have the feature to see the temp on the gauge cluster...and it'll bounce from 208-235 in the stretch of a mile. AC on. If I turn it off, same thing. U might jack it up and check how free the wheels rotate. That would create some heat depending on how bad the caliper was sticking without necessarily much associated smell especially if your running ceramic pads.
