Stock 2g 7 bolt has been up around 700whp. Cant remember whos car, but hes well known. Many many passes on it before it went out. Headstuds would be the weakest link right off the bat. If the tune is very good a stock motor can handle a whole lot more than most people think.

I've heard of people break them at 500hp or so but as long as you have a bigger trans cooler and watch your temps it'll last a long time.
