Feedback: 553 / 1 / 1. I picked this lower up a few weeks back from 3gunR in the MP, looking to glean a little knoledge from the hive mind. This was adverdised as a Rhodesian lower, which I believe it was, due to the RA marking. However I am curious as to where it came from before its time in The Bush. Lower is type 1, SRA marked, serial 2211.

The L1A1 is what's referred to as an inch pattern rifle, whereas the FAL is considered a metric pattern. The weird thing is the FAL isn't metric at all. All of the dimensions on the weapon are called out in inch measurements. The magazines don't readily and reliably interchange between the two.
