I always heard the 2 bolt blocks were stronger than the 4 bolt. Do a 4 bolt conversion with spayed bolts. It should help. Can you do a FILL like Ron suggested? Tall would be the best but half is better then nothing. The 4 bolt blocks used Nodular caps.
