To my understanding the drop rate of exotics is supposed to be 25% for Legend and 30% for Master Lost Sectors. I've done most of them on Legend but I did do several hours of Master for a few of them and I'd say my rate feels like 33-40% overall. Bray.tech is saying that Nothing Manacles have a 31% chance to drop as the exotic item.

If it takes 2-3 times longer to run a Master over a Legend and or you have a higher chance of failure, just run the Legend. If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better.
