Depends on how you define 'best'. If you're talking about the ability to just non-stop nuke, kinetecist is likely the best choice simply because they never run out and mostly focus on spamming and modifying that one nuke. Ok just did a test run on my kineticist with Fire/Earth composite blast. What I am seeing is two entries for damage as the results of the attack. Fire is base 20d6 (lvl 20 composite blast)+ 6d6 (greater kineticist crown) +2d6 (lesser kineticist rod) = 28d6+43 damage base. Then it is x.5 . Base Kineticist is the best. Subclasses sacrifice too much for little gain. You want Constitution to be your Burn stat, not others. Most powerful elements are fire and earth. Fire targets touch AC which is usually the lowest defense stat of the enemies, while earth is great for crowd control (Deadly Earth is king).
