The rooms are roughly the same size, though Mirage's tend to be about 50 sq/ft larger on average. The bathrooms in the NYNY Park Ave and Madison Ave rooms are actually about the same size as the Resort Rooms at Mirage. Save. Tropicana rooms will be nicer than their NYNY counterparts. However, the NYNY itself is a far more fun property. Despite being on a busy corner, Tropicana feels isolated vs MGM, NYNY, and Excalibur. Normally I am one to choose the best room, but in this case, the far more fun hotel in general wins out.
