Elem pierce builds have already been viable and afaik stronger than raw builds on certain match-ups since event before any TU. You can check out angbata11's older build videos on YouTube. Not totally sure but the megathread may also contain TU3 builds.

I am using a pre-sunbreak pierce build with the Narga LBG. Pre-sunbreak + narga is what I used for him but I'm sure it's far from optimal. Phemeto has a pretty good early MR armor suggestion in one of their latest videos. Remember to shoot through monke's arms, those are pretty much the only good shot hitzones. Thank you !
