It could that your crankshaft sensor is worn out. Plug in a obd2 reader and if the codes p0335 and p0339 come up.Sounds like something is getting hot and tripping an automatic circuit breaker, or your headlight switch may have an auto reset in it, which will reset after the overload cools off.
