Check the fuses. There should be a blade fuse from the controller to a keyed ignition under the dash. If its a handheld then there are two glass fuses inside he controller. Also make sure all the connections at the solenoid and grille are clean and tight. Bad Fish stik. Well the 9.6 X-V we had installed a week ago worked for about 13 hours before deciding it had had enough and stopped working all together. It started off working intermittently in the second storm and after a few hours was completely dead with only an occasional command working. The plow was installed by Portsmouth Ford in N.H.

Thanksgiving we installed all the plows on the trucks. Yesterday we installed the 8.6 SB smarthitch2 on the truck and no movement. My controller does not light up. I have power at the fuse box. I followed the Boss flow chart. I do have power on the black wire in the controller plug. I open up the controller to look inside.
