Cadillac cue not working.
The screen only does what it is told to do by the cue module. The first thing I would check is all fuses. If it is completely dark, it is getting no power. If those fuses that would be the power supply all check out, my next move would be to remove the module and repeat the operation.

Be sure when searching for one that it has the amber-colored translucent areas at the bottom. NO response, use of GM Dealer Scan Tool is needed to Test, Program and Update. There is a likelyhood the CUE will need Repaired or Replaced, as these Units have tremendous issues. For the most part, CUE is not plug-and-play. The major hardware components of CUE are VIN-programmed.
