Since the tranny is a seperate unit it can be left off and the primary CVT clutch can be mounted directly to the crankshaft of the V-twin. Any V-4 engines set up like a Harley? Oct 24, 2019 · new would be my choice also. just make sure it has the same cam as the rushmore 103's, and twin cooled. that is as sweet as the twin cam engines ever got. good price, and it is new. the difference between rebuilt and new is simple. the rebuilt has already been worn out once. not a fair statement in part, but there is some wisdom there. also the price on an hd new is pretty ok.:smile

They quoted me 10 hours of labor @ $100/hr, plus 3 hours for the dyno - $1,300 total. I called two other dealers and one quoted 6 hours and the other one quoted 4-5 hours.
