Gmc sierra ticking noise when accelerating.

My Acadia SLT has recently been making a rattling noise when turning left and during acceleration. When Parked if I accelerate the rattling noise also can be heard but diminishes when the engine goes back to normal idle. I was driving to work one day when I heard a noise that sounded like a think piece of metal was flapping underneath the truck somewhere. Thought it might be the dust cover so I took it off and the noise persisted.

If the noise was still there after the a/c belt snapped then the noise problem is elsewhere. Did you inspect the serpentine belt when you changed the a/c belt. It's probably in as bad shape as the a/c belt.
