The 33 is quick where the 30 is more of a push. The 10 round mag makes a difference for me over the 9 round in control of the 30. The 30SF is fairly comfortable for me; the regular 30 not so much, but the Gen4 is ( which is supposedly the same as the SF). In my area 9 mm is in the $20 range, .40 $28-29, and ,45 just over $30.

I change the triggers to a 21sf, I prefer the smooth trigger, add a polished minus connector. A Wolff reduced power spring kit, and at 4#minus , I usually am about 3-1/2# after 2000 rounds of use.

The quick and dirty is that the 30SF is a full sized 30 slide on the Short Frame (SF). The SF frame reduces the distance between the front & back straps to allow for more trigger reach on the G30. The 30S is a G36 slide mounted on the SF frame. I've had both the 21 and the SF, as well as the 30 and SF. Aside from the way they fit my hand, I could find no difference. Accuracy and reliability are on par throughout the four. As for any real differences, you would have to explore the Generation 3's and 4's. The best defense is a good offense, and I'm really offensive.
