Reason: (1) Cordoba has ported barrels, (2) Cordoba and M2 have been known to shot high and not much can be done due to the raised rib, (3) Montefeltro mitigates high shooting due to the flat rib and isn't ported. Benelli is a much higher quality that franchi. But franchi is a solid budget semi auto. Benelli will stand behind there product until your grand children own than gun. Thats the major difference between higher end brands and middle of the road brand. The only other discernible difference I've come across is the location of the recoil spring is in the stock for the M2 vs over the mag tube on the Affinity which makes them balance differently, and apparently is also a pain to get to on the M2.

Dimensions are basically the same, you would have to replace the stock bolt with a longer one, it appears to screw into the receiver, so that shouldn't be a big deal. Yet, Benelli brand of Beretta hasn't done a bloody thing to fix it in all these years. It is a shame, for there isn't much to get excited about in 20 gauge auto-land today, and there hasn't been for many years.
