EPFs are ammo hungry beasts. If you find it easier to farm regular plasma ammo go for the capacitor mods (improved crit shot tuner for vats users, improved hip fire if you’re more free aim). If you’re not struggling to farm ultracite plasma cartridges go prime capacitor. The damage is significantly increased as for most plasma based weapons.Aligned for vats. True for hip fire.
