Toss E4OD and install a ZF-5 manual tranny. Always had a time keeping my E4s running cool. You might try a 6.0 cooler and 6.0 plastic engine fan. 6.0 fan is a direct bolt on 7.3 fan clutch and pulls 11k cubic feet a minute, stock is 8k as I recall at full lock up. I'm considering this.

The bottom of the trans pan says in BIG letters "METRIC". the 1/4 NPT doesn't thread in, gets stuck after 1/4-1/2 turn. The 1/8 NPT is way too small.

The diagram for the trans cooler lines doesn’t include what is circled in the pictures attached, but it almost looks like this is exactly where the leak is coming from BUT the cooler lines also look like the culprit of the leak. Just curious if this may need to be replaced as well before i order the 200$ Trans cooler lines for replacement.

If you have a late 99, I believe that the "hot" side from the transmission connects up to the radiator water to oil cooler and then the "cold" return comes from out of the transmission cooler in from of the radiator.
