I said Spectre Hood is a god mode armor, not that it was the only god mode armor. Its life steal is powerful enough to grant a player immortality from everything but a Dungeon Guardian (and PvP) attack. 15 less damage doesn't help you too much from attacks hitting over 100. Spectre, in a way, has more defense than all other armors.
