The end of the year with 65 hours use I winterized it and did the maintanance. I noticed the drive belt showed excessive wear and found that the rear pulley was seazing causing the belt to slip.The John Deere X350 is equipped with a Tuff Torq K46 transmission. According to many forums, this transmission will burn up at hilly terrains. Also, John Deere X350’s K46 transmission has a 0.75-inch axle and driven metal gears, with a maximum rear tire size of 20 inches.The small X models, up to X300, have K46 or T40 (JD exclusive version of K46). But not surprised at all, yes John Deere has a big problem with the 550 S4 and it sickens me that they will not back their product.
