From stage 48 and up the drops are the same (look at the little i on every stage), so the minimum you farm is 48. Higher stages will give more coins. Most pick 60 rounds stages for farming. Not high enough to easily farm above 48 yet, 40 is easy but tedious. Been doing 30 because it's way faster.
