Most stores use the plus four method for band sizing so a 26” underbust puts you in a 30 band. ABTF doesn’t use plus four and it’s more accurate to use you underbust measurement as your band size. Often people with 28” bands choose 30s simply because they’re easier to find.

According to ABTF, I am a 30C/D but when I plug my measurements into the fit quiz on Pepper Bra’s website, they are fitting me as 34AA/Small. The ABTF calculator says I'm actually a 30C/D. I want to buy a 30C to see how it fits but pretty much all the bras on here for Shallow Breasts are not available in Canada. Since I've never tried this size before, I don't want to spend a lot of money on shipping and getting a bra from another country when I may not be able to return it. The problem with finding ABTF is that one of my boobs is significantly bigger than the other and on top of that, my ribcage on one side is also differently shaped/smaller than the other (asymmetric pectus excavatus, the breast muscle is also slightly different/not fully evolved on one side), which makes the size difference even more prominent than it actually is.Molded cups have their own shape, so air pockets aren't visible unless there is a dent, a severe fold, or visible gaping on the edge.
