Jun 9, 2017 · I just had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and dr didn't find a sac or heartbeat. she wanted blood work done to measure HCG and results came back today and it was at 4100. My HCG has risen from 583 to 1697 to 4100 in a weeks time (dr had my blood drawn 3 times since i found out i was pregnant a week ago. The doctor did an internal ultrasound, measured the fetus and told me that it is only measuring 6 weeks and 2 days, rather than the 8 weeks and 4 days I am supposed to be (according to my last period). Because it was so small, there was no heartbeat yet, they said that can happen any day now. They did see a fetal pole and the sac.So I went in for my 6 week ultrasound last Thursday.
